Our hearts are heavy with grief as we mourn the loss of our Girl Scout sisters from Wisconsin Troop 3055. The girls and volunteers were all living our mission, making their community a better place while following all proper safety protocols as they cleaned up a stretch of highway they had adopted. We’ve been hearing from many of you across the Movement who are asking for guidance on how to help, honor, and reach out to the families impacted by the tragic car crash that took the lives of our Girl Scout sisters Haylee, Jayna, Autumn, and Sara Jo, and left another Girl Scout, Madalyn, severely injured.
We encourage all Girl Scouts to honor Troop 3055 in whatever way is most meaningful to them. For inspiration, we’ve collected some ideas below.
